Urgent Prayers needed

I have a friend Jennifer who on Tuesday was diagnoses with Acute Luekemia. It is something that somehow slipped under the radar screen with her, and was caught at what appears to be an advanced stage. She has since been transported to Seattle, but honestly things are not looking as hopeful as we would like. Tonight she is having a spinal tap, which they have wanted to do for days, but because of some liver problems her blood is not clotting well, so they put it off. Today she became confused and they determined they had to take the risk associated with the lack of clotting, and will likely add a chemo treatment to her spinal fluid as well as the chemo they implemented four days ago for her bone marrow. Please pray tonight for Jennifer's blood to clot better than expected, and for mercy on her and her poor body. This is a critical point for her. She is young - under 40, and has a nine year old daughter - Jessica - and a one year old daughter - Rebeka. She has a wonderful husband Bruce, who has Godly character as he leads his family. The both have tremendous faith, and Jen has been talking about how she is getting to go home to Jesus from what I am told. I cannot tell you how special Jennifer is. While you are at the prayer, please pray for her nine year old, who is aware that something is very wrong with her mom. She is an emotionally fragile girl in some ways, and I understand that this trauma is really hitting her hard. She is currently staying with a relative here in Montana, and the separation from her parents is also very hard on her! We almost lost Jennifer three years ago in an unrelated health crisis - I mean really almost lost her. God intervened in a miraculous way that has been used as a testimony to bring people closer to Him. I feel greedy to ask for another miracle, but I think at this point that is what we are asking for. God is sovereign, merciful, just, steadfast and faithful, but that does not mean he will do everything we ask. I accept that he knows what is best. I accept that we have to submit to the unknown in this situation. I also know that he commands us to be thankful in everything, to praise Him always, and to pray without ceasing. I'm trying! Won't you!
